Center Pivot three phase Irrigation from single phase power with a POLYPHAZ converter

W A R N I N G

Standard rotary phase converters may not be suitable to operate center pivots, if you are purchasing a new converter from us or a purchasing second hand POLYPHAZ converter to operate a center pivot it will require:

• Software update and or parameter changes to provide reliable long term use.
• If the used POLYPHAZ converter uses solid state capacitor switching (Thyristors) as used in some of our earlier units it will require modification to contactor switching with resonance coils

Center pivot irrigators require a balanced three phase  power supply and must be capable of withstanding the pulsing load that comes with the three phase pivot under normal operating conditions and the effects this has on the power supply.
